hmm, seems not to help with my problem. My structure by now looks (almost) like this:
main import A import B import C ...
module B overriding xsl:param declarations of A
I don't know how I could change this to the scenario described in your suggestion and what the benefit would be. I think the problem is that I can't describe my structure in a few words...
