An interesting "first" as far as I know, I was surprised to see that the PDF
of the notice that is on the Copyright Office website reads "December 3, 2010"
for reply comments, but has a call-out comment added to it that, when clicked,
reveals the date correction to January 19, 2011. If such a practice becomes
common, it would not surprise me to see litigation over what constitutes full
notice -- and whether those receiving the notice may be bound by comments
embedded in the document and that would ordinarily not appear if the PDF is
simply printed.
