Dunno what terminology is used in the supercharger spec, but for electronics in general, pulse width is the time spent high, vs period which is the cycle length. Pulse width divided by period gives you the duty cycle, which would correspond to the 50% that you mention above. A 2200Hz square wave with a 50% duty cycle gives a pulse width of 227us.
