But do you develop for the 2600 in C++? I can't imagine that cross
assembly on a PC to 6502 when your final code is no larger than 16K is
going to be that slow in Java.
It might be cool to port things like DASM or Makewav to Java, in which case
all platforms with a VM could use them.
