The point, however, was to find out at which pricepoints such expansions, be it a Supercharger, an X32 (or however it was called) or an N64 memory expansion, can go for without being suspicious of being a "hidden new system". The X32, at its time, was more expensive than the Genesis itself, as was the CD expansion when it came out. With the N64 RAM expansion, priced at $30 compared to the N64's $100, this isn't the case. And I do believe that such points can be useful for judging whether a piece of 2600 hardware we develop could sell well or not, so they're not totally out of topic. With love from Austria (and hope that nobody's angry at me now...)
