Triggering HMCLR is just like writing zeros into all horizontal movement registers, so you shouldn't do that within 24 cycles after an HMOVE either. Since triggering HMCLR or CXCLR clears the registers immediately, there is no need to wait with other accesses to the TIA after such a stobe.
