In message <4.3.2.7.2.20010506231901.00bd8c30@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>, Piero Cavina writ es: >What's this book really about? It's just what it sounds like, but from a hardware point of view...I haven't gotten all the way through it yet, I had to put it down in favor of school work, but the techniques seemed very basic. The games are hardcoded in hardware which makes it less useful to most people here, but it's still somewhat interesting. And I think it may actually be more useful than at first glance. I didn't get very far, but taking some of the concepts just one step farther gives you the automatic horizontal positioning of the VCS. I plan to take these concepts and wrap a class around them when I get time (no comments please :P ). One of many classes that are "in the works". :) -Chris - Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
