Sorry to anybody that took time to look at this.

I compiled using -f2 instead of -f3. If I looked at the file size I would have noticed it wasn't 4k.

Yeah, I guess one of the side effects of writing a tutorial is you
should be there to support it a bit!

Those two are excellent questions....did the Clock compile
and run ok? And what emulators are you using?
