I'd started a web app to do just that (not using Andrew's tools, but my own
code that started from the Boing demo using ImageMagick to do the converting
non-interactively) but I've been having serious hard disk problems the last
month or so and I'm just occupied with backing up the 127GB or thereabouts of
stuff I have online using only two CDRW drives ;)

I'd say go ahead.
