Could you please post your version of the subroutine?
I'm currently evaluating the possibilities of this
technique and it'd be cool to have your solution to
compare.

I've attached an older version of my RPG kernal demo. I didn't manage to combine both kernal frames into one, so it's twice as big as Crane's version. It may be possible to combine them, but I haven't wanted to mess with it yet.
