Using DiStella for a basic structure and the OCRed documents for labels 
and comments. 

By using a good merge tool (e.g. Compare It!) it should be a quite easy 
job if you prepare the OCRed docs first (e.g. converting labels and formating
to DASM/DiStella style). 

You "just" have to know regular expressions better than me.  :)

BTW: I have managed Metroids to assemble into a 6K file (though most likely with
still some bugs). What do I need to make it run with z26?
