While I'm clueless about this as well...


I changed vcs.h to use the base address $30, and then the game worked fine on a real 2600.

...you should know that you can just set


TIA_BASE_READ_ADDRESS and TIA_BASE_WRITE_ADDRESS

for this kind of purpose when using the latest common vcs.h from the DASM 2600 support package.
