>Sounds like a 'SuperOptimizer'. This seems to implement a black-box where you duplicate results in as little space as possible, but in a kernel you need certain things to happen at certain times, greatly complicating matters. But this idea looks promising for optimizing short routines, like with saving a few bytes in a minigame (something that interests me, obviously.) Google found versions for modern processors, but not 6502. Does anyone know if there a 6502 version out there?
