Rob,

don't get me wrong...I like the product very much...but for us, its missing
some key features that i hope will be in the next release. 
by the way...if your not using max or maya to model your scenes...then what
are you using?

Virtools users,

virtools is a really great product...or has the potential to be a really
great product.
I get greatly varying results on different machine configs.
until sound is supported on the web, its pretty much unusable. I know there
are work arounds with shockwave...but the director extra is still in beta
and very very fickle.
Also, I know most companies doing real time are using max...but we use Maya.
Support through the game exchange format is promised, but not delivered in
the current version. I understand this is the fault of a bug on the side of
the Maya people.

We would love to commit to virtools for our products. But untill the next
release proves it's self, we cannot.

Since I am increasing my investment to 3 licenses, including two Dev, I
certainly hope the Virtools community, and the company, are healthy and
growing.

I have committed to projects in which Virtools plays a key role. Now is the
time that I need assurance that 1.5 is well on its way and all is well.

Virtools [please give 1.5 a better name] is a great tool. I look forward to
a long, productive relationship with it.
