Please take this with a "large grain of salt" because I am not yet that
familiar with the Physics Engine....
My guess would be that one or more Physics Surfaces needs to be
recalculated. I would disable all scripts containing Physicalize and remove
all Physics Surfaces. Then I would add my objects back into the physics
engine, one by one, leaving the element(s) that you have converted to
buoyancy fields to the last.
I think/believe/suspect that the PreProcess error is having difficulty
converting one or more of your meshes into a Physics Surface. It could also
be that there is a dependency loop - one script expects that another has
converted the object into a Physics Surface already and that script has not
yet executed.
So, you might need to explicitly control your object/script priorities too.
Just some thoughts, perhaps they might help.
