[xsl] XSL length output

I would like to make a XSL transformation from XML to HTML (or XHTML) and be sure than the output is less that 5Ko...

So, is there any way, to predict the length of the output of an xsl transformation ?

(string-length idoesn't work as it doesn't count the tag length)
