that is where i was at one time, but i veered away. now you make me
think there was no reason to do so. i cannot reconstruct my mind set.

i think i was a little worried about what the code would do in a `pure
DSSSL'. is
 (make display-group
      span: 3
going to do what is expected in the full page model?
