Agree with the general thrust -- examples are _good_.

I use DSSSL to reorder and output in three different forms a set of monthly
reports.  This involves (hyperlinked) TOCs, input reordering, and should
involve bibliography management (not working yet :-( ).

The output forms are SGML (a selected subset of the original document),
HTML, and print.
