Kevin,

We are currently working to set up a Standing Committee with NISO to
manage Z39.96-2012 under Continuous Maintenance. Once the ı's are
dotted we'll announce the details here. There will be an official form at
NISO to capture suggestions and changes, and we'll have a schedule for
updated official versions. I'm hoping to have this soon. I wish I could be
more specific.

Unofficially, it looks like we will have the opportunity for an official
release once per year if needed. Also, the Standing Committee should be
able to publish decisions made on suggestions collected throughout the
year to help with planning. The non-normative supporting documents can be
maintained accordingly.

Jeff
