It is disingenuous for Microsoft given there public record for trying to sabotage
other technologies like Java with the embrace" and extend" philosophy for them to
refer to proprietary extensions like the xsl:eval element as if they were core
parts of XSL.  There are a ton of things that everyone and their brother wants to
be incorporated into the XSL spec, but the problem is that if XSL becomes so
complicated and bloated that only a select group of people can use it, then it
will ultimately fail.

If the major XSL software vendors (Microsoft included) intentionally cloud the
idea of what is standard XSL for their own benefit, then XSL will likely turn into
the current state of implementations for HTML
