>> >with version 2 of their parser) >> Don't you mean version 1? > >Well both, I suppose. It's MSXML3 that supports XSLT. More confusion. I think it is v2.6 onwards that supports 1999/XSL/Transform At this point they changed the ProgID from Microsoft.xmldom to Msxml2.DOMDocument and the name of the dll to msxml2.dll. When they brought out the March web release I guess they thought it was so close they decided to call it version 3 and changed the dll name to msxml3.dll. However the ProgID remained Msxml2.DOMDocument So depending on where you are standing depends wether it is MSXML3 (file level msxml3.dll) or MSXML2 (programming level Msxml2.DOMDocument ProgID) or MSXML 3.0(marketing). MSXML3 doesn't exist except as the name of a file. The product is MSXML v3.0 So if by MSXML3 you mean MSXML v3.0 then you suppose wrong because MSXML v2.6 supports 1999/XSL/Transform too. Although I might be wrong.
