Hi Peter A common way to use one xslt to work with data from more that one file is like this: <xsl:variable name="OtherData" select="document('OtherData.xml')"/> You can then reference it with xpath statements like: "$OtherData/*" (for the root element of the document) One xslt can use templates from other xslt; check out <xsl:import/> and <xsl:include/> in the documentation. I believe it is possible to apply-templates to the results of other templates in xslt2 but this an advanced topic (well for me anyway). It is no problem to pass the result of a template to another named template as a parameter for further processing. If you need further help send short example input, xsl, and desired output.
