It does, there are settings for H and V size.

Most modern TVs show more of the pixel bandwidth of NTSC than that of
1970s TVs, which cropped images horribly.  Despite that, you still have
dumb stuff going on like the scanline removal in Williams Classic Arcade
to suit the lowest common denominator.
