I would like to start work on a game, but I'm still having tremendous problems figuring things out. I'm surprised I was actually able to figure out playfield graphics (thanks to Nick Bensema). I tried to create a simple program to just display a colored background without using anybody else's code. I couldn't even get it to compile. :-( Some more tutorials are DESPERATLY needed. I seem to understand some of the concepts on how the Atari works, but get totally lost when it comes to figuring out the correct syntax. It's sort of like trying to say a sentance in a foreign language that you don't know. One can look up words in a dictionary and throw them together in hopes that you can get your meaning across. Unfortunatly, a compiler can't intuitivly know what you are trying to say unless you get the synatx 100% correct.
