I've been quietly lurking on this list enjoying the off-topic posts, but
recently I finally got the time to try some Atari coding... to find that I
couldn't get the software to work. As the subject line implies, I'm using a
Mac. I've got MPW installed, with Rasm. However, when I try to RUN Rasm,
I get (paraphrase, I don't have it here at school):
MPW - 's must occur in pairs.
with every possible variant on the command line 'rasm foo.asm -o foo.bin' I
could think of, as well as every source file. Same result with and without
the option flags, which I forget at the moment, and even with a command line
of just 'rasm'.
I tried re-downloading, but A) same result, and B) since mactools.zip
unzipped properly, the download MUST have worked, right?
Can anyone help?
