2.3 How do I get started? 6502 assembler book recommendations. _Machine Language for Beginners_ by Richard Mansfield (c) 1983 Small System Services, Inc ISBN 0-942386-11-6 A "COMPUTE! Books Publication" This book really is all you'll ever really need. Includes a quick reference guide of all the commands in the back, reads incredibly well (I couldn't put it down), and really does a great start with some decent metaphors to get fairly advanced concepts into the mind of a beginner. It really would be worthwhile to track down who owns the copyright and see if we could OCR the book and make it electronic, imo.
