Hey: Didn't the parent company of Penthouse and Omni buy the Compute! family of magazines at one point? I wonder if it might be worthwhile starting there? gene -----Original Message----- From: owner-stella@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-stella@xxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Ruffin Bailey Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2000 4:48 AM To: stella@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [stella] Thrust 1.0 on 7/24/00 6:02 PM, Matt Matthews at jvmatthe@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > What little I know I learned from and old book by Compute! called Machine > Language for Beginners. I think the book is good enough that if we could track down who owns COMPUTE!'s copyright and get permission, we should scan the book and get it into pdf form asap. Though admittedly I've thought that for years and haven't started tracking yet. :( So if you can get a copy, you'll be up and programming in no time. The quick reference in the back is great as well.
