Do you think it would be better to keep the current "final level screen"
with an added "game over" text and then display the hi-score on the title,
or just jump back to the title screen?

Well, I'm not really a fan of a "decreasing" score, it's a bit confusing IMO
:)

Let me know how it feels with and Atari joystick if you get the chance to
try my game with it, since I also don't usually play the game with original
Atari sticks (maybe beacuse they're all broken? :)
