Subject: [stella] Troubles with z26 v2.09 From: "Fabrizio Zavagli" <rasty@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 20:28:58 +0200 |
Hi all, I'm having a hard time with controls on z26 2.09 for windows.. On my system (Win2k pro sp3), z26 v2.09 barely responds to keypresses. It looks like it's mouse-related since mouse control works fine, but it feels like the mouse input is kind of pushing keys input back so, every time I press a direction, the emulator either doesn't respond or just accepts the keypress but for a very short time, and then stops. Of course I've tried to disable the mouse with -M0 -m0 and several combination of the both switches, but the effect is the same.. (correct me if I'm wrong, but it isn't possible to completely disable mouse input, is it? can just disable paddle emulation and mouse catching, right?) On the latest z26 version I've been using (which I've found out to be v2.06), I had no problems with input. Can't tell for the versions in-between :( Any ideas on what could be wrong? Is there a way of completely disabling mouse input for joystick emulation? Plus the amazing heat we're having here (way above 30 degrees celsius!) sure isn't helping me thinking ;) Thanks in advance!
