Have you thought about allowing the ships to alter speed or maybe direction in reaction to shots? That breaks from the shooting-gallery tradition of it being all about timing, but if you can shoot 4 torps at once then it might be too easy to just spray the screen with torps and watch your points go sky high.


You'd want to either do that or limit the torps to one or two at a time or slow the torps down more.
