I don't have any more static problems from the CC than any other 
non-shielded homebrew cart.  I use it with a light sixer, and I get a 
crystal clear picture as long as I keep the bulk of the RF cable away from 
the 2600.  It is noticeably worse than regular carts if I have too much RF 
cable near the console.

If it's really that bad, maybe you could make a shield out of aluminum 
foil.  Just wrap the cart up and ground it.
