IIRC, the numbers are that the horizontal scan rate (multiply by 76 to get CPU clock speed) is 15750 Hz for NTSC and 15625 Hz for PAL. So PAL 2600s run everything (gameplay and sound) about 0.8% slower. Not noticeable for gameplay, but Eckhard invokes a good scenario with the clocks. A clock on a PAL 2600 will fall behind one on an NTSC 2600 by about 20 seconds per hour.
