RE: [Virtools] About Transparecy in Virtools...

Title: Message
hello,
In 3dMax, you'd better modify transparency in your object MATERIAL (opacity value) : it will be exported in Virtools, then (though Virtools does not provide opacity animation support, as far as i know)
Arnaud.

Subject: [Virtools] About Transparecy in Virtools...

Hello,
Please see gfx.avi.
Texture are 32 byte *.tga files which with Alpha channel and this texture are also with Advanced Transparecy function.
This object also has dynamic transparency controlled by  a parameter , Renderable Visibility, which supported in 3D MAX.

Virtools support transparency only for texture,
I have to use many scripts (one script for one object) if I want to show as gfx.avi.
This way needs so mush time.

Would please tell me or teach me how to do :

1.In 3D MAX, we can select a object and then click mouse's right key on this object,
we can change transparency by "Renderable Visibility".
(This parameter can be found in Properties -> General -> Rendering Control -> Renderable Visibility)
How to export "Renderable Visibility" to Virtools ?

2.If the plugin of Virtools for 3d max can not export this paramater,
would you please open sources which is about to load cmo and nmo to virtools ?
(We only find "for max plugin" source code in Virtools Dev 2.x.
but not found source codes about to load cmo and nmo to virtools.)

Thank you.
