over-mark

Can a produce an over-mark over a sosofo of a tilda or a convex line.
I've tried

(element inv
    (make mark
          (sosofo-label
                (make rule
                    ;line-cap: 'round
                )
                'over-mark
          )
     (process-children)))

but I get an ERROR in my RTF

Can I even do this with the RTF back-end?
