Hi thanks for your replies. Sorry if this wasn't the place to ask but
I wanted to know if it's an XSL problem or not. I submitted a zip with
all files because the problem occurs only on large files, and not all
files. Here's an inline extract in "readable" braille :

Anyway, it turns out the problem came from the &#xC; char, as you
said, and it's the XML parser that was guilty. We changed Xerces to
Xerces2, still have to test to see if new problems occur, but it seems
to solve the problem.
