In my earlier post, I mentioned that I can get *new* 2732 circuit boards made for about $1.50. I can design the board in a couple of hours and have protos (lower quantiy = higher price) in 2 days. Wiring and mounting an inverter on a used ROM card sucks, but not as bad as dealing with the old ROM. With a new board, it's about a minute to stuff the chips. If I were going to make my own carts, this is definitely the route I'd take. -Chris -- Stella list is Administered by krishna@xxxxxxxxxxxx <Glenn Saunders> Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/stella.html +-shameless plugs-------------------------------------------------------+ | Stella documentary at http://www.primenet.com/~krishna | | Nick's VCS links via http://www.primenet.com/~nickb/atariprg.htm | | Write the best game, win framed autographs of famous Atari alumni!! | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
