Yes, absolutely sure. I used to have a program that I used to determine
what the code was for each device and determined that the trackball was
indeed different from the ST mouse.

It's the same as the Amiga, I'm sure the info is easy enough to find in a
quick internet search -- I'll look when I have a chance!
