Subject: Re: [jats-list] JATS Publishing 1.2: author social media profiles From: "Alf Eaton eaton.alf@xxxxxxxxx" <jats-list-service@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 14 Nov 2019 14:27:26 -0000 |
For Twitter, the recommendation was to use `contrib-id`: https://www.biglist.com/lists/lists.mulberrytech.com/jats-list/archives/201307/msg00004.html Similarly for LinkedIn, Publons, Google Scholar, etc, it may be better to store the author's identifier in those systems and construct the URL when the link is rendered. If it really is a URL, you could use `<ext-link ext-link-type="uri" xlink:href="https://example.com">An Example</ext-link>`.
