ummm.... yes ..... IMHO of course. Personaly I was keeping my mouth shut to see what other ideas emerged aroudn the idea, but at the moment it does look as if a couple of wheels are being reinveted here.... of course I waiting to see if I'm just missing something conceptualy. Limited expereience so far has shown me that often that's the case with XML stuff... I'm waiting and watching to see if I suddenly grasp something, but as yet... yes it appear to be an XLink and RDF thing. I must go back and look at RDF again. I thought it's intent was, well, to describe resources. And so far it would appear that XPDL is intended to... describe resourced. I would say that the is at the very least a degree of overlap here :) Cheers Guy. xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on 04/08/99 02:54:54 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx cc: (bcc: Guy Murphy/UK/MAID) Subject: RE: XPDL (was Re: XML is broken) I keep waiting for someone to ask the (perhaps stupid) question: "Is this 'problem' not something that RDF is designed or at least capable of dealing with?" I have been conditioned to think of RDF as a kind of super-DTD but obviously it is more general and more malleable. Why not? ...edN [SNIP] XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
