Subject: [stella] Self-modifying code (was: Trick12 - inv3.bin) From: "Thomas Jentzsch" <tjentzsch@xxxxxx> Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2001 20:10:46 +0100 |
Hi, I have a question: Does anybody know, if there are any games that use self-modifying code inside the kernel? There might be some interesting coding to discover. I found some games that execute code inside the RAM, but that was used only for things like bank-switching. Finding those games is quite easy, just search for a JMP or JSR to zeropage ($4c|$20, $80-$fe, $00), and check. Have fun!
