and so on until TeX gives up.

This is fpTeX 0.4, recommended installation. This includes JadeTeX 3.1
which is automatically set up so I don't have a chance to screw it up.

Either there is a spell on my machine (therefore it would be soooo much
appreciated if anyone else could test this with either MiKTeX or fpTeX), or
Sebastian will enter the TeX hall of fame for writing the first
platform-dependent macros.

Any ideas?
